Home City Development creates strong, thriving communities through resident-focused programs and services. We provide educational support, workforce readiness training, youth employment opportunities, homeownership counseling, and community gardening. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, we empower residents to achieve financial independence, build skills, and enhance their quality of life.
Resident Services
From after-school teen programs to workforce readiness and financial independence classes, to early childhood literacy programs, homeownership counseling and community gardening, Home City Development encourages residents to reach their goals and engage in a mutually supportive and respectful community. Our Resident Engagement Program also assists residents by providing access to supportive services.
Summer Youth Employment Program
Employment opportunities are provided to youth and young adults, made possible through a grant from Mass Housing. We partner with local businesses and community-based organizations to place youth at an array of worksites, building up workforce skills and readiness.
