SPRINGFIELD — A decade ago when the South End took a direct hit from the F-3 tornado, Leo Florian looked around at the neighborhood where he has lived most of his life and wondered how the already struggling area would recover.
Wednesday October 25th 2023, neighbors saw another example of the comeback of the South End with the groundbreaking of a $23 million, 40-unit Gemini Townhomes condominium complex that will provide affordable housing for first-time homebuyers.
